Foam Fill

Foam Filling Means... No More Flat Tires!!!

Not even in the most hazardous operating environment! This is what you will enjoy after gettin your equipment tires foam filled by Garrett Tires & Treads. Tires will roll right over spikes, scrap metal, nails, rocks, texas sandburs. You name it! You could even drill holes in the tires and they'd keep on rolling!

Foam fill also called polyurethane fill is a two part liquid compound that is pumped into a tire through the valve stem, completely replacing all of the air inside the casing. It is then allowed to cure for 24 to 36 hours. When fully cured, the tire has a resilient rubber core that cannot go flat under any circumstances.

Foam fill is recommended for any tire tube type or tubeless operating under hazardous conditions. It can be used on numerous types of equipment that normally travel at speeds of less than 35 miles per hour. High speeds require cooling periods of up to 8 hours to disperse the heat that can build up inside the casing. Foam fill is not recommended for highway use. It cannot be put in passenger or motorcycle tires unless the vehicle is only used for travel at a given site and not used for highway travel.

Foam Fill Works Best For:

  • Construction Equipment
  • Farm Equipment
  • Industrial Equipment
  • Forklifts
  • Bobcats
  • Trenchers
  • Backhoes
  • Tractors
  • Man Lifts
  • Lawn Mowers
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Hand Carts
  • Golf Carts

5 Good Reasons To Flat Proof With Foam Fill

  1. Get The Full Life From Your Tire Casing
When you fill your tires with foam fill, you can run them until the casing is no longer suitable for operating conditions. Sidewall damage and punctures will not stop you from running the tire. When the tire is worn out, it is cut off along with the foam fill, and a new tire is mounted to the same wheel.
  2. Improved Safety
Filled tires cannot blow up and will provide stability to high reach equipment while still maintaining traction.
  3. Cost Savings
No more down time costs due to flat tires and no more flat repair costs for the life of the tire.
  4. Cures Ballast Problems
No need for wheel weights and water or calcium fills. Foam is naturally heavy and can not freeze.
  5. Eliminate The Need To Monitor Air Pressure
The tire is filled to the correct air pressure for life, resulting in optimum performance and maximum tire life.

The Bottom Line Is Flat Tires Add Up!!!

You'll save wages not only for the equipment operator, but for every other employee whose work has been interrupted. Flat proofing your tires means the end to expensive tire related costs, permature tire failure and down time.
